Nancy Burton, LAc – Healing Your Body

What does it take to heal your body and maintain good health? Underlying factors that impact every health issue are nutritional intake, assimilation and distribution. A break down in any of these results in the initiation of health problems and disease.

Nutrients are necessary to feed all your organs and tissues. There is no single correct diet for everyone. We are all biochemically individual. So what might be the perfect food for one person might be impairing the health of another.

Your body has to be able to break down the food you’ve eaten. You can eat the perfect diet but if you’re not assimilating your fats, proteins and carbohydrates you’re not receiving the full benefit of your food. If you have problems with weight gain, food cravings, phlegm, masses, tumors, fibroids, cysts or fatigue those are often indications of problems assimilating nutrients.

You might have the perfect diet and assimilation of nutrients but if you have problems with the transportation of nutrients to your organs and tissues they can’t work as they should. The nutrients have to be distributed to all parts of the body, especially those experiencing challenges. If you’re experiencing stiffness, discomfort, dry mouth, lack of thirst, cold extremities, or any type of pain those are indications of impairment of the distribution of your nutrients.

Nancy Burton, L.Ac. offers her patients a number of tools to address a wide range of health issues. By incorporating modern nutritional therapy, Chinese dietary therapy, nutritional supplements, Kinesiology, Tui Na ( Chinese medicinal massage), and Acupuncture (which facilitates the distribution of nutrients into organs and tissues) people heal can at an accelerated rate and learn to maintain good health.
